About Vulnerable Street Kids (VSK)

Yordanos Tesfay is the project leader of VSK, she is Habesha (Ethiopia/ Eritrea). She has a daughter who is excited about the possibility of living in Ethiopia. Yordanos' family live in Addis Ababa.

Her connections with the area are numerous and include contacts with local large churches who have been involved in working with street children for more than 50 years. e.g. Kale Hiwot church

She has been working with the Church Mission Society (CMS) in their Oxford office in the financial department since 2007. Before this she worked as a manager of Tesco Express. She is a trustee and secretary of her church, Rhema Faith Ministry in UK and also one of the teachers in children Ministry. 

VSK project work team in Addis Ababa will be overseen by Pastor Fitsum,. He came out with me on the evaluation visit and was excited and encouraging about the initiative to work amongst the street children in the area.
